The University of New Hampshire's Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics recently recognized alumni Robert Cole for contributions and entrepreneurship in the hospitality industry. Cole, '84, was awarded the 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award from the Hospitality Management Department (HMGT) during November's Gourmet Dinner, the department's signature event organized by HMGT students.
The Distinguished Alumni Award is the highest honor UNH HMGT can bestow upon its former students. Since 2007, UNH HMGT has been honoring outstanding individuals who have made lasting contributions to their fields and communities with significant innovation, influence, and impact on industry and society. The Distinguished Alumni Award does more than honor its recipients. It further highlights the great value of student involvement, experiential learning, and academic programs at UNH and Paul College.
UNH HMGT is widely recognized for developing leaders across the hotel, hospitality, and real estate industries who have achieved distinction and recognition. In addition, for the second year in a row, Paul College is ranked as the top public business school in New England by the Poets&Quants Best Undergraduate Business Schools rankings.
